Data processing for the provision of the contractual services

You can use our website and the contact data stored there to send us enquiries about orders for contractual services. Insofar as personal data are transmitted to us for this purpose or otherwise in the case of enquiries about orders, we process your data to answer your enquiries, to carry out the order/contract and for invoicing. For this purpose we need your name, your address data and your e-mail address. Without these data we cannot execute the contract with you. Depending on the order/contract, we may also require additional data.

In the case of suppliers/service providers, we process the personal data provided by you for the purpose of ordering and calling up services on our part and to pay for your services. For this purpose, we require your name, address and account details. Depending on the service/contract, we may also require additional data, which we will inform you about in individual cases.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 letter b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Data processing for communication with you

In addition to the contract data, we process your communication data (address, telephone number, e-mail address) in order to contact and communicate with you. Personal data that you provide us with by e-mail or telephone will only be processed for correspondence with you or for the purpose for which you have provided us with the data.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 letter b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Data processing for the fulfilment of legal obligations

In addition, we process your data in order to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. regulatory requirements, commercial and tax law storage and verification obligations).

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO, which permits processing to fulfil a legal obligation.

Categories of receipt of personal data

Your contractual and communication data will be forwarded to the responsible department and the responsible employees within our company in order to answer your enquiries, to communicate or to execute the order. The basis for this is again Art. 6 Para. 1 letter b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Your personal data will only be passed on or otherwise transferred to third parties outside our company if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or invoicing or if you have given your prior consent or if there is a legal basis for the transfer.

Insofar as we use the services of third parties for the execution and handling of processing procedures, the provisions of the basic data protection regulation are observed. Service providers who support us in providing our services to you are hosting providers, e-mail service providers, IT service providers, service providers for data destruction.

We pass on personal data to the following third parties who process personal data on their own responsibility (so-called data controllers, cf. Art. 4 No. 7 DSGVO) within the framework of legal admissibility and necessity: auditors, tax consultants, lawyers, public authorities.

Contact form, Become a supplier form, Catalogue order form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We pass on this data to the responsible persons within our company or to the responsible persons within our group of companies. Otherwise no data will be passed on without your express consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Duration of data storage

In principle, we delete your data as soon as they are no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes, unless temporary storage is still necessary. Thus, we store your data due to legal obligations of proof and storage, which result from the German Commercial Code and the German Fiscal Code, among others. The storage periods are then up to ten full years. In addition, we retain your data for the time during which claims can be made against our company (statutory limitation period of three to thirty years).

Data security

Your personal data is securely transmitted by us using encryption. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system for this purpose. Furthermore, we secure our websites and other systems by technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technical developments.

Use of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

If you have given your consent, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising. To deactivate Google Analyytiscs, Google provides a browser plug-in at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. This enables IP addresses to be processed in a shortened form, thus excluding the possibility of personal references. If the data collected about you contains a personal reference, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is therefore deleted immediately.

Use of Google Tag Manager: Google Tag Manager is a solution with which marketers can manage website tags via an interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If disabled at the domain or cookie level, it will remain disabled for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. http://www.google.de/tagmanager/use-policy.html

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The competent service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
In order to use the Google Maps functions, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we have indicated on the website. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

More information on the handling of user data can be found in the Google data protection declaration: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Social Media Plug-Ins

We offer you the possibility of using so-called “Social-Media Buttons” on our website. These buttons are integrated on the website merely as a graphic, which contains a link to the corresponding website of the button provider. By clicking on the graphic, you will thus be forwarded to the services of the respective provider. Only then will your data be sent to the respective provider. If you do not click on the graphic, there will be no exchange between you and the social media button providers. Information on the collection and use of your data in the social networks can be found in the respective terms of use of the respective providers. We have integrated the Social-Media-Buttons of the following companies on our website:

  • LinkedIn Corporation (2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)
  • Xing (XING SE, Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany)

Log files

Every time our website is accessed, usage data is transmitted by the respective internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored in this process contain the following data: Date and time of access, name of the page accessed, IP address, referrer URL (the URL from which you accessed the website), the amount of data transferred, as well as product and version information of the browser used and the operating system of your PC. The IP addresses of users are deleted or made anonymous after the end of use. The data is not evaluated in any other way, except for statistical purposes and then basically in anonymised form. No personal “surfing profiles” or similar are created or processed either.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the purpose of safeguarding the legitimate interests of the person responsible, provided that the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned do not prevail.
